Syria at UN accuses Turkey of supporting terrorists

Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem accused Turkey of continuing to support the Jebhat al-Nusra terrorist group operating in Syria (an organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation). He stated this on September 26 during a speech at the debate of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly (GA). The Turkish regime is one of the main sponsors of terrorism in the region. He continues to support Jebhat al-Nusra (an organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation) and related groups, the Syrian Foreign Minister said. Walid Muall Muall also raised the issue of countering unfair sanctions unilaterally imposed against a number of countries. We call on all affected countries and those who reject such measures to join forces against them and mitigate their consequences, said Muallem, stressing that ordinary citizens are primarily affected by the US sanctions imposed on Syria. According to the news agency, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the debate of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly (GA) said that Greece will appeal to the UN International Court of Justice if the conflict with Turkey is not resolved through dialogue.
