Head of Parliament of Kosovo: peace with Serbia - after revealing the fate of the missing

The acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the Head of Parliament, Viosa Osmani, laid flowers at the memorial to the missing Albanians in Pristina during the Kosovo War. According to Albanian news agency Telegrafi, Kurti said Serbian criminals should be held accountable for crimes committed in Kosovo and would never receive an amnesty. At the same time, the politician stressed that the Criminal Code of Kosovo has been amended to allow the trial of criminals who have committed war crimes in Kosovo to take place in the absence of those responsible. It is important that we carry out as much work and actions as possible to clarify the fate of the missing. As well as for the trial and sentencing of those responsible. We as a technical government are as ready as possible for this, but it is time for the Special Prosecutor's Office to say its word and do its job. At the same time, the Speaker of the Kosovo Parliament added that peace between Kosovo and Serbia will be concluded only after the fate of 1,641 missing persons is revealed.
