Indian authorities completely shut down the country for three weeks

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the complete isolation of the country from midnight on 25 March for at least three weeks due to the coronavirus pandemic. This is today, March 24, the press service of the Government of India reports. Recall that in India on the morning of March 24 there were about 500 cases of coronavirus infection. India has a rather weak health system and is unlikely to cope with a real pandemic. In this regard, the authorities decided to go to the complete closure of the country in order to reduce possible channels of further coronavirus penetration.
