US resident accused of misappropriating about $4 million

David Hines, a 29-year-old resident of the US state of Florida, is accused of fraud, as a result of which he appropriated about $ 4 million, which was intended for salaries during the epidemic of the new coronavirus. This was reported by the press service of the US Department of Justice. According to investigators, Hines turned to credit institutions to receive assistance under the federal program. On behalf of various companies, he allegedly requested loans worth $13.5 million for employees' salaries. As a result, loans were approved for a total of $3.9 million. Investigators believe that the young man bought Lamborghini with money from the fund. Within days of receiving the funds, Hines purchased a Lamborghini Huracan sports car of 2020 year for about $ 318 thousand, which he jointly registered in his name and the name of one of his companies, the report said. Recall that Lamborghini dealers began to accept pre-orders for a limited series of Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Xago hypercar. The car will be released in only ten copies. The novelty was created in honor of the opening of the company's new virtual studio Ad Personam. See also: Lamborghini showed the principle of operation of the Sian cooling system
