The Russian Federation has resumed issuing all types of visas to Turkish citizens
From today, July 29, Turkish citizens and foreigners with a residence permit in this country will be able to obtain Russian visas. According to the news agency in the press service of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Turkey, the issuance of all categories of visas is resumed. The right to enter the Russian Federation can be realized by direct flights arriving in Russia from Turkish airports, the diplomatic mission noted. This procedure also applies to Turkish citizens, holders of diplomatic, service and special passports (visa-free regime). At the same time, the embassy added that citizens of other states temporarily located in Turkey do not receive visas. The diplomatic mission recalled the need to present the result of the test for the COVID-19 of the model established by the Turkish Ministry of Health. On the Russian border, all visiting foreigners will be required to pass a test by polymerase chain reaction (PCR), made no earlier than three days before arriving in Russia, the embassy said.
