In Ukraine, clarified information on the size of the country's public debt

The state and state-guaranteed debt of Ukraine as of May 31 of this year amounted to 82.12 billion dollars, the Ministry of Finance of the country reported on June 25. According to the source, in May of this year, in equivalent in national currency, Ukraine's debt grew by 0.59% to 2.209 trillion hryvnias, and in equivalent in foreign currency increased by 0.83%. The Ministry also notes that fluctuations in the foreign exchange market in May were minimal, respectively, their impact on the state of public debt was insignificant. The news agency notes that the volume of state and state-guaranteed debt of Ukraine for 2019 increased in dollar terms by $6.05 billion to $84.36 billion.
