Democrats in the US Congress stood up for Brazil's opposition

Representatives of the Democratic Party of the United States in the American Congress called on the White House to refuse to conclude a trade deal with Brazil. This is stated in the letter of Richard Neal, Chairman of the Revenue and Expenditure Committee of the House of Representatives of the United States Congress, sent to the administration of the American President. Strengthening bilateral economic cooperation at this time will undermine the efforts of Brazilian defenders of human rights, workers 'rights and the environment, the letter says. At the same time, Democrats note that economic cooperation with Brazil under President Jair Bolsonaro aru will only harm. The congressmen therefore encouraged the White House to raise the above-mentioned issues with the Brazilian authorities through more appropriate channels. According to the news agency, on June 1, US President Donald Trump discussed with Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro ar his possible participation in the Group of Seven summit. During the conversation, Bolsonaro aru thanked the American leader for sending artificial lung ventilation devices to Brazil.
