Curfew to be imposed in Somali capital
Following the registration of the second death from the disease in Somalia COVID-19 the Government issued an order imposing an overnight curfew on Mogadishu. This is reported by VOA Africa with reference to its sources. Police General Abdi Hassan Mohamed said the curfew would take effect from April 15 and would be in effect from 8pm to 5am local time. No date has been set for the curfew to be lifted, reporters said. According to the order, the curfew also applies to movements on personal and public transport and business. Officials said the curfew would not affect the schedule of grocery stores, hospitals and pharmacies. We remind that earlier in Somalia confirmed four new cases of coronavirus infection.
